oFlow is a web application that allows the Operations and Supply Chain departments to execute their tasks based on our corporate strategy and best practices. The focus of the application is to provide the user an action tool; that shows all relevant information at their fingertips required to make smart decisions. The system provides exception management, early warning alerts, daily work lists, leading/trailing indicators, and communication/collaboration tools. The system processes data looking for exceptions and delivers them to the user with logical action recommendations based on proven strategy and best practices.
This project aims to create an enterprise platform that recreates the current oFlow system with real time capabilities and integration with SAP data. The current system is limited by design with multiple instances and requires the business to transfer the results of the action recommendations of oFlow manually into SAP. The new platform should enable two-way integration with SAP and leverage the data available in SAP and other sources, enabling scalability to all of our manufacturing facilities.
The system must provide an integrated landscape connected to the backend SAP data for customers, products, raw materials, orders and more. The presentation layer should be designed to work on mobile devices as well as traditional desktop/laptop environments.
