The Ohio State University’s Enterprise Security Group is seeking a solution for protecting university data on mobile devices running iOS, Android, Windows 10 Mobile, and BlackBerry. Solutions must offer robust mobile device management as well as a secure container option for email, calendar, contacts, and tasks. The solution must also leverage biometric access controls to Android, iOS and Windows 10 devices (you will be required to list supported devices).

The solution will need to be able to support the extremely distributed nature of the 76 different entities on campus. Within these groups, there is a mix of university owned and BYO devices that must be accounted for differently. Granular role based access controls are a must.

The RFI is designed to determine whether our requirements are in order, whether we should add or remove requirements based on the current technology space, and whether we will need to update our existing infrastructure to accommodate new solutions in the market.
